Tomorrow will be another gorgeous day for an art stroll! Please join us this Fourth Friday as we enjoy some beautiful weather, delicious wine and the amazing work of acrylic painter, Sarah B Hansen.

Sarah will be here at the gallery for a demo and meet & greet from 4-6pm. Looking forward to seeing you all then!

SARAH B HANSEN

Featured this month is the beautiful work of local artist Sarah B Hansen. Sarah paints to express her connection to the natural world. Each piece has a story - a tap into the unplugged beauty of nature. She pushes and plays with shapes, color, and line to suggest landscape elements, using a variety of paint application tools.

In leaving shapes undefined, she creates atmosphere, allowing mystery and imagination to dance at the edges. This leads to a concept that not all is understood in the wild, and that life is occurring beyond human senses.

She also scripts words into the painted landscape. These words might be notes from hiking art journals, or phrases from long-ago nature poets. It is partially obscured and soft, a whisper; taking a back seat to the scene, and revealed only upon close inspection.
